Wal-Mart called onto the carpet at screening in Knoxville!

Democracy for Knoxville co-hosted a screening of Robert Greenwald's new movie "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" on Sunday, November 13.

The room in Hodges Library on UT's campus held about 150 people and was pretty full. We even got a few walk-up viewers from people just passing by.

The movie made a pretty good case that Wal-Mart is bad for our country. I'd recommend that everyone see the movie and decide for themselves if they plan to shop there. My family hasn't shopped there for years.
