HALLIE McFADDEN is a candidate for the General Sessions Court in Hamilton County. An accomplished local attorney, assistant public defender, and a former lieutenant in the U.S. Navy's J.A.G. Corps, Hallie is running on a platform of efficiency, community involvement, and uniformity in the administration of justice. Hallie has the strong support of Democracy for Chattanooga and has worked with them on one of the most active grassroots campaigns ever for a judge's race in Hamilton County.

JASON POWELL is a progressive candidate running for the state House of Representatives. Jason, a realtor who is active with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and other community and neighborhood groups in Nashville, is running to bring a "bold new voice" to people in this working-class district. MARK HARMON, candidate for Knox County Commission in District 2A, has been a leading voice for progressive values in Knoxville. Mark hosts one of the only liberal talk radio shows in the state, he hosts "Democratic Television" on cable access, he's a well-respected local political columnist, and he's a Professor of Journalism and Media at UT Knoxville. Mark also ran for U.S Congress in Texas back in 1998. One of the main reasons Mark is running is because he is "motivated strongly by the value of opening doors for the next generation".
